I'm Alvaro Rubiano, I'm a Colombian photographer and filmmaker based in Sydney for the las 3 years. Born and raised in Zipaquira, Colombia.

​My love for the films started when I a younger 10 years old boy that participated in my cousin university  projects, then, the idea to do photography grow up in my mind.

​I've a bachelor degree on filmmaking at Politecnico Grancolombiano based in Bogota, Colombia. And a bachelor degree in Film and Video at Academy of Information Technology in Sydney.

In my own projects, I gravitate towards the genres of documentary and drama on stories that talk about the migrant life and the latino-american stories from the streets and stories with soul.
